Following the capacity building session (see agenda item 14), ESCAP presented information on regional progress and initiatives in Asia and Pacific on road safety as well as insights in the ESCAP projects called “Automating the future: Autonomous Vehicles for Greener and More Inclusive Transport – Policy Implications for Asia and the Pacific.”

80. GRVA welcomed the presentations by ESCAP of their activities on Road Safety and automated driving. GRVA invited the experts to present future updates.
