During the consultations, the expert from Germany proposed to review Annex 4 of UN Regulation No. 157 (Automated Lane Keeping System), with focus on communication between approval authorities and called for comments on a supplement that they had volunteered to prepare. The expert from UK acknowledged that the current text is outdated and lacked clarity.

23. GRVA noted that the expert from Germany would propose an amendment at the September 2025 session of GRVA.
