4. UN Regulation No. 14 (Anchorages of Safety-Belts)

6. GRSP agreed to defer discussion of ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2023/27, proposing to remove derogations for two-point safety-belts on buses and coaches, to its May 2025 session.

7. GRSP considered GRSP-76-33, tabled by the expert from OICA. He explained that the proposal sought to allow the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard Force Application Device (FAD) test to be performed as an alternative to the current UN Regulation No. 14 test, which uses body blocks. Some GRSP experts questioned the equivalence of the two tests and requested more evidence. GRSP agreed to resume discussion on this subject at its May 2025 session based on supporting data or a revised proposal.
