163. AC.3 noted that the Committee was expected to vote on Amendment 3 to the UN GTR concerning the headform testing, at its March 2021 session.

164. The representative of the Republic of Korea, on behalf of the Chair of the IWG on Deployable Pedestrian Protection Systems (DPPS), informed AC.3 about the progress of the work of the IWG on Amendment 4 to the UN GTR. He added that due to limitation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, some issues still remained open, such as DPPS definition (e.g.: width, structural parts), detection area of impact, etc. He announced that the eighth IWG meeting would be held as a web-conference on 18 November 2020.
