4.3. Development of the International Whole Vehicle Type Approval (IWVTA) system

92. The Chair of the IWG on IWVTA presented the proposal for amendments (WP.29-182-11) to the General Guidelines for United Nations regulatory procedures and transitional provisions in UN Regulations (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/1044/Rev.2).

93. WP.29 endorsed WP.29-182-11 and requested the secretariat to issue a new Revision 3 of the General Guidelines for United Nations regulatory procedures and transitional provisions in UN Regulations, based on WP.29-182-11, for consideration and vote at its March 2021 session.

94. The World Forum considered the proposal for the 03 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 0 (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/2020/101) and recommended its submission to AC.1 for voting.
