| WP.29 | Session 197 | 10-14 Nov 2025 |
65. On behalf of Chair of the IWG on DETA, the representative from Germany briefed the World Forum on the activities of IWG DETA and laid out the current state of play, noting the number of approvals uploaded (WP.29-197-20 and WP.29-197-21). The World Forum noted this information and encouraged type approval authorities and technical services to continue uploading data to DETA and using this tool for exchange of information. 66. The representative of Czechia wondered if more detailed DETA statistics on a country-by-country basis could be produced. The representative from Germany confirmed the availability of such data. He pointed out that, pending WP.29 approval for publication, the data could be shared with AC.2. 67. The secretariat reported that, for the time being, DETA could not be covered by the UNECE regular budget and thanked Germany for continuing to host DETA. |
