55. The experts reviewed, during the consultations, the document tabled under this agenda item. The experts discussed the need for transitional provisions and the six seconds mentioned in para 5.1.4.1. The experts learned that no meeting of the IWG on ACPE took place since the last GRVA session in January 2025 as the activities were in the planning phase.

56. GRVA adopted ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRVA/2025/33 and requested the secretariat to submit it to WP.29 and AC.1 for consideration and vote at the November 2025 session.

With 41 of the 61 Contracting Parties applying UN R175 present and voting, AC.1 adopted document WP.29/2025/145 by a vote of 41 in favor, 0 opposed, with 0 abstaining.
