The deadline for submission of official documents to the UNECE secretariat is 27 January 2017 (twelve weeks prior to the session).

The secretariat reported on the recent adoption by WP.29 of the guideline on cybersecurity and data protection (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/2017/46), submitted by the IWG on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and on its decision to include the guideline as a new annex to the Consolidated Resolution on the Construction of Vehicles (R.E.3.). In this respect, GRSG noted draft Revision 5 of R.E.3 (GRSG-112-18) and endorsed it.
