GRSG-111-21 | Detailed analysis on the compatibility or incompatibility of the scopes and technical provisions for trolleybuses of UN Regulations Nos. 100 and 107 The proposal by Belgium GRSG/2016/05 aimed at removing the amended additional safety prescriptions for trolleybuses from annex 12 of UN Regulation No. 107 for the Construction of M2 and M3 vehicles (R107), and inserting them into UN Regulation No. 100 on Electric Powertrain Vehicles (R100), see proposal GRSP/2016/07. This document explains how the scope and technical provisions for trolleybuses of R100 and R107 are complementary, but not yet fully compatible.
GRSG/2016/5 | Proposal for amendment to Regulation No. 107 Proposal to transfer electrical safety provisions for trolleybuses (Annex 12) from UN R107 to UN R100. In 2006, the provisions of UN R36, UN R52, and UN R107 were merged through the 02 series of amendments to UN R107. In 2015, Annex 12 of UN R107 was amended to align additional safety prescriptions for electrical safety of trolleybuses with the corresponding electrical standards. However, UN R100 has evolved beyond its initial focus on battery electric vehicles and currently presents a more appropriate location for maintaining the trolleybus electrical safety provision of Annex 12. For the provisions of Annex 1 – Part 1 – Appendices 1, 2 and 3, where a list of characteristics of a trolleybus was added apart from the special environmental conditions, a reference will be inserted to Annex 6 – Part 1 and Annex 7 of UN Regulation No. 100. A corresponding proposal for amendments will be submitted as an official document to the Working Party on Passive Safety.
GRSG-112-02/Rev.1 | Proposal for amendments to UN Regulation No. 107 Proposal to address the concerns raised in document GRSG-111-35 (which failed to achieve consensus at the last GRSG session) through application of FprEN 16584-1:2015 and 2:2015, respectively referring to requirements for color contrast for signage and quality of audible information.

100. GRSG-112-20 | AEGPL comments on Poland's Supplement proposal for UN R67 (GRSG/2017/10) In GRSG/2017/10, Poland proposes requirements for the LPG tank and its accessories. AEGPL notes that UN R67 requires a specific bonfire test of the container equipped with specific configurations of accessories which includes markings to indicate the extension number of each accessory corresponding to each configuration. In order to ensure that the user knows whether an accessory can be fitted with a specific container, AEGPL proposes to require marking the extension number on the accessories relevant to the bonfire test (multivalve, pressure relief valve and pressure relief device) in order to prevent/forbid the fitting of any accessory not approved for use in each container configuration. This alternative proposal to that in GRSG/2017/10 would imply a new marking requirement for accessories, but would avoid the proliferation of accessory type-approval numbers and increase in paperwork.
