The 36th Brake Emissions Task Force meeting was held on 23 March 2021. The meeting reviewed results from an Interlaboratory Study campaign comprising 75 finalized tests representing 89% of planned tests. Laboratory checklists were analysed for protocol compliance. Time-based and event-based files were reviewed, with findings on particle concentrations, brake parameters, and disc temperatures presented. Preliminary PM analysis identified significant deviation in PM emissions among laboratories and flagged seven candidate laboratories with possible sampling or measurement errors. JRC will submit weekly proposals for amendments to protocol clauses, with TF2 members commenting within one week, and remaining points addressed at a mid-May workshop.
