The Forum adopted a new UN Regulation on LED light sources at its March 2012 session. This document updates the collective amendment that introduces LED light sources into the relevant UN Regulations 4, 6, 7, 23, 38, 50, 77, 87, 91 and 119.

Proposal from the Working Party “Brussels 1952” (GTB) to update provisions on heat resistance tests.

Proposal as adopted by the Working Party on Lighting and Light-Signalling (GRE) at its sixty-seventh session to introduce provisions for the use of light-emitting diode (LED) light sources per the draft Regulation (Regulation No. 127: documents WP.29/2010/44 and Corr.1).

Proposal from Germany to insert provisions for the use of incandescent light sources in the case of light source modules and lamps with non-replaceable light sources.

Proposed modifications to the German proposal (GRE/2012/20) to ensure that non-replaceable and unapproved filament light sources used in sealed devices and in (filament) light-source modules have a sufficient lifetime and fulfill color endurance verification.

GRE/2012/26 is a proposal from the Working Party “Brussels 1952” (GTB) to update provisions on heat resistance tests. This correction from GTB provides an improved justification for the proposed amendments.
