26 Oct 2013 UN R83: Proposal for a Supplement 4 to the 06 series of amendments (OICA) GRPE/2014/3 2013-10-26 Text prepared by OICA to align the regulation with the full requirements for vehicles that meet "special social needs" under the regulatory framework of the European Union. OICA
4 Nov 2013 UN R49: Proposal for a supplement 7 to the 05 series of amendments (OICA) GRPE/2014/6 2013-11-04 As the Euro VI standards for heavy duty vehicles become mandatory throughout the European Union, manufacturers may adapt their certification processes to take account of the extended scope of Euro VI compared to Euro V. In order to prevent inconsistencies that could affect the ability to offer all vehicles for export, it is proposed to carry back this scope amendment retrospectively to the 05 series of amendments. Since Euro VI will be fully implemented in the EU from 31 December 2013, this amendment has no effect on EU Approvals or equivalences. OICA
26 Nov 2013 UN R83: Proposal for draft amendments to the 06 series of amendments (OICA) GRPE/2014/7 2013-11-26 When the scope of Euro VI legislation in the EU was extended downwards to 2,380 kg, the vehicles which are so approved were not exempted from light duty approvals. As the measurement of CO2 emissions and fuel/energy consumption is covered by UN Regulation No. 101, this proposal would add an exemption clause in UN Regulation No. 83 to take into account this overlap with light-duty vehicle requirements. OICA
26 Nov 2013 UN R83: Proposal for draft amendments to the 06 series of amendments (OICA) GRPE/2014/8 2013-11-26 Proposal for a series of amendments to update the on-board diagnostics (OBD) requirements in line with technological progress, including changes in ISO standards. OICA

OICA
15 Dec 2014 Proposal for amendments to the Consolidated Resolution on the Construction of Vehicles (R.E.3) (AECC, CLEPA, EUROMOT, and OICA) GRPE/2015/9 2014-12-15 The objective of this document is to provide recommendations for the minimum quality of market fuels (i.e. gasoline and diesel) that should be introduced concurrently with the corresponding emissions standards. They complement the motor vehicle and NRMM pollutant emission standards that a country or a region may be considering to introduce. AECC CLEPA EUROMOT OICA
1 Apr 2015 Proposal for amendments to Regulation No. 85 (OICA) GRPE/2015/12 2015-04-01 Proposal to avoid a redundant correction of the measured engine power of supercharged and turbocharged engines fitted with a self-correcting system for ambient conditions such as temperature and altitude. 27 Oct 2016 UN R83: Proposal for a new Supplement to the 06 and 07 series of amendments (OICA) GRPE/2017/5 2016-10-27 Proposal to adapt the 06 and 07 series of amendments to Regulation No. 83 to Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) warning and inducement systems to current vehicles, emissions requirements and reagent infrastructure. In light of further vehicle weight reduction for CO2 optimization and the resultant vehicle packaging challenges, diesel cars will likely have smaller AdBlue® reagent tanks. For passenger cars, the warning indicator to refill AdBlue® has to be activated at 2,400 km of remaining reagent range which could result in very frequent refills of smaller reagent tanks. This proposal would allow for reagent refill inducement warnings as a percentage of tank capacity. For heavy-duty vehicles, the warning has to be activated at least at a reagent level of 10 per cent of total reagent tank volume. The inducement system has to be activated at least at 2.5 per cent of reagent level. OICA
