Proposal to align UN R127 with provisions set out in the revised General Safety Regulation (EU) 2019/2144 that will apply in the European Union in accordance with the proposed transitional provisions. The proposal also covers a specific provision on optional monitoring of headform contact with A-pillars, windscreen header and cowl and proposes inconsequential adaptations and clarifications to the existing requirements.

Proposed text to facilitate the administrative control of two-stage requirements introduced in the 03 series of amendment.
