Proposal to remove direction indicator lamps of categories 11 and 12 from the list of lamps required to fulfill n-1 failure requirements of UN R50 and to restore an extra requirement for reversing lamps found in UN R23 but unintentionally omitted from the original text.
This proposal (WP.29/2021/45) was adopted by the World Forum. Thirty-nine Contracting Parties out of the 56 applying UN R148 were present for the vote by AC.1. Thirty-seven voted in favor with zero against and two abstaining.
