Proposal to align UN R106 with international standards (ETRTO, T&RA and ISO 4351-2 table 2) with regard to Improved Flexion (IF) tyres and Very high Flexion (VF) tyres to add load indexes to the table in the Annex 4 to keep up with the technical evolution of tyres. This proposal also clarifies the application of EC Regulation 167/2013 which refers to UN R106.
This proposal (WP.29/2016/59) was adopted by the World Forum. Thirty-five Contracting Parties out of the 46 applying UN R106 were present for the vote by AC.1. Thirty-five voted in favor with zero against and zero abstaining.
