This proposal aims to align the English version to French text of the Regulation with regard to the test provisions for side impacts.

Proposal to clarify provisions concerning protection of the fuel tank in the event of vehicle collision in connection with the proposal by France in document GRSG-112-09 to align the French translation with the English original. The intent is to clarify the prohibition against the presence of elements likely to cause damage to the installed tank in the event of a collision rather than to the installation of the tank per se.
