GRE will consider draft amendments to the Consolidated Resolution on the common
specification of light source categories (R.E.5) which were submitted by the expert from the
International Automotive Lighting and Light-Signalling Expert Group (GTB).

GRE may also wish to be informed by GTB about the results of their study on the
advantages of the light-emitting diode (LED) technology for power consumption and
reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
