2. Mr. Rijnders, Chair of GRPE, opened the meeting and welcomed the participants.

3. GRPE adopted the provisional agenda of the eighty-eighth session (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRPE/2023/14/Rev.1).

4. Upon a proposal from the Chair, GRPE agreed to give the floor to the co-chairs of the Informal Working Group (IWG) on Automotive-Life Cycle Assessment (A-LCA).
