GRSG noted the proposal submitted by the expert from OICA (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSG/2026/22) to harmonize the location of the lower datum point (5°) in paragraph 5.1.1.3 with the angle of obstruction requirement (4°) set out in paragraph 5.1.3. She also introduced document ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSG/2026/23 under agenda item 14(l), proposing a parallel amendment to UN Regulation No. 125 (Forward Field of Vision of Drivers). The expert from the Kingdom of the Netherlands considered that the proposal addressed an existing inconsistency but cautioned that it could introduce new ones, and therefore requested comprehensive feedback from all experts. Finally GRSG agreed to resume consideration on both proposals on the basis of revised proposals at its October 2026 session.

37. The expert from the Kingdom of the Netherlands, on behalf of the Task Force on Automated Vehicles Regulatory Screening (TF-AVRS) introduced the status report of the TF-AVRS (GRSG-131-46). He also introduced proposals of amendments updating the regulations (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSG/2025/18, ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSG/2025/20, ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSG/2025/26, ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSG/2025/27 and ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSG/2026/2 to 18) and the latest updated document from the TF superseding part of the official documents (GRSG-131-21 to GRSG-131-43). Then GRSG adopted the following documents he introduced and requested the secretariat to submit them for consideration and vote at the June 2026 session of WP.29 and AC.1:
