  1. Enable real-time reading of electrical transmission brake values during periodical technical inspections, and
  2. Clarify that the Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) may be generated by application of the service braking system via the Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) control.

The representative of OICA presented GRVA-24-08 proposing to align the provisions of UN Regulation No. 13 with those already approved by GRVA (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRVA/2025/45/Rev.1) for UN Regulation No. 13-H. GRVA requested the secretariat to submit it as draft supplements to the 12, 13 14 and 15 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 13 to WP.29 and AC.1 for consideration and vote at their June 2026 sessions.
