The representative of OICA proposed (GRVA-23-20) to introduce transitional provisions for the newly adopted provisions applicable to full power steering systems (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRVA/2025/48/Rev.1 as amended by GRVA-23-45). The representative of Japan acknowledged that the transitional provisions were necessary and supported the proposal.
44. GRVA adopted the proposal (see Annex VII) and requested the secretariat to transmit it as part of the draft supplements to the 03 and 04 series of amendments and to be incorporated in the draft 05 series of amendments, for consideration and vote by WP.29 and AC.1 at their March 2025 sessions.
