53. The expert from the Republic of Korea introduced informal documents GRSP-77-13-Rev.1 and GRSP-77-14-Rev.1 with a correction applicable to both the original and 01 series of amendments. The expert from the Netherlands supported the proposal but asked whether it was necessary to correct both series of amendments or if it would be sufficient to correct the original series of amendments and assume the correction applied ab initio and therefore automatically applied to the 01 series of amendments. The Secretariat confirmed that in order to avoid ambiguities, the usual practice in the 1958 Agreement was to treat each series of amendments as a different text once it had branched from the preceding series of amendments. Consequently, GRSP adopted informal documents GRSP-77-13-Rev.1 and GRSP-77-14-Rev.1, (as reproduced in annex X to the session report) and requested the secretariat to submit them as proposals for a corrigendum 2 to the original series of amendments and a corrigendum 1 to the 01 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 145 to the November 2025 sessions of WP.29 and AC.1.
