GRSG | Session 124 | 11-14 Oct 2022 |
16. GRSG considered GRSG-124-03 on Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) emergency braking at low speed (Urban Emergency Braking System (UEBS) less than 20 km/h for M2, M3, N2 and N3 categories of vehicles). The expert from Germany explained that the proposed ADAS would complement the new UN Regulation, since some vehicles cannot fulfil the requirements of that UN Regulation. GRSG agreed to seek guidance from the Administrative Committee for the Coordination of Work of WP.29 (AC.2) at its November 2022 session on the purview/priority of work in relation to the Working Party on Automated/Autonomous and Connected Vehicles (GRVA). |
