142. The representative of the United States of America, Chair of the IWG on EVS and of GRSP, informed AC.3 that the group had last met in September 2017, to plan work without discontinuation of Phase 2 of the UN GTR to address the long-term research issues. Thus, he introduced ECE/TRANS/WP.29/2017/143 prepared by the representatives of China, Japan, United States of America and the European Union to request authorization to start Phase 2 of the UN GTR. 143. AC.3 adopted ECE/TRANS/WP.29/2017/143 and requested the secretariat to prepare the corresponding AC.3 document. |
