The Chair of GRSP informed GRSP that the IWG of phase 2 of the UN GTR would start, without discontinuation, to address thermal propagation and other pending technical issues. Accordingly, GRSP noted that a draft authorization to develop Phase 2 of the UN GTR is expected to be submitted to AC.3 and WP.29 at the November 2017 sessions. Finally, GRSP agreed to resume discussion at its December 2017 pending on AC.3 decision.
