UN Regulation No. 137 (Frontal impact with focus on restraint systems)

GRSP agreed to resume consideration of proposals tabled by the expert from EC, on behalf of the drafting task force, to expand the scope of the UN Regulation (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2019/37). GRSP may also wish to resume discussion on the inclusion of the L7 category of vehicles in the scope of the UN Regulation.

GRSP may consider a proposal from Japan for a new series of amendments to introduce provisions from GTR 20 on electric vehicle safety into UN R137.
