Proposal for a new regulation for the approval to tires installed on a vehicle. This regulations is proposed for use within the International Whole Vehicle Type Approval system in order to ensure proper tire fitment on a vehicle under IWVTA evaluation.

Supplement 2 to the 02 series of amendments to Regulation No. 117 (Document WP.29/2012/54) as adopted at the June WP.29 session contained a typo where the snow temperature range for the snow grip test should be ‐4°C to ‐15°C, but the ‘minus’ sign was omitted before the first figure.
