Clarifications

GRVA agreed to resume consideration of a proposal tabled by the experts from the European Association of Automotive Suppliers (CLEPA) and International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA), aimed at enabling the use of a park lock type system as an alternative to a friction type parking braking system to fulfil the static requirements of UN Regulations Nos. 13 and 13-H.

GRVA agreed to resume consideration of an amendment proposal to UN Regulation
No. 13-H, aimed to clarify the existing text in order to ensure an aligned and consistent interpretation of the activation conditions for an Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), means the ESS can be generated by application of the service braking system via the Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) control.

GRVA agreed to resume consideration of an amendment proposal to UN Regulation No. 13, aimed to allow the selection of a different braking control depending on the vehicle load condition when testing the effectiveness of the secondary braking system in failure conditions.

GRVA agreed to resume consideration of a proposal for amendments to UN Regulation No. 13 aimed to insert requirements for the approval of e-trailers, tabled by the experts from CLEPA, the International Association of the Body and Trailer Building Industry (CLCCR) and OICA.

GRVA agreed to consider a proposal tabled by the expert from OICA

GRVA may wish to review amendments to UN Regulations Nos. 13, 13-H, 139 or 140, if available.
