GRVA may wish to be briefed on the outcome of the recent meeting(s) of the Informal Working Group (IWG) on Automated Driving System (ADS), tasked with drafting a new UN Global Technical Regulation and a new UN Regulation on ADS by mid-2026. This effort is coordinated by the Framework Document on Automated/Autonomous Vehicles (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/2019/34/Rev.2 amended by ECE/TRANS/WP.29/2024/33) and authorized by the Executive Committee (AC.3) of the 1998 Agreement (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/AC.3/62).
