Proposal to amend UN R16 to effect the separation of certain provisions into new UN Regulations on the installation of occupant restraint systems and on safety-belt reminders.
This proposal (WP.29/2024/118) was adopted by the World Forum. Thirty-seven Contracting Parties out of the 52 applying UN R16 were present for the vote by AC.1. Thirty-seven voted in favor with zero against and zero abstaining.
