Proposal from GRE to permit AFS passing-beam headlamps to project driver assistance symbols and patterns and to add Driver Assistance Projections to the communication form in Annex 1 to improve transparency over whether a headlamp includes this capability.
This proposal (WP.29/2023/97) was adopted by the World Forum. Thirty-nine Contracting Parties out of the 58 applying UN R149 were present for the vote by AC.1. Thirty-nine voted in favor with zero against and zero abstaining.
