The representatives of Denmark, European Commission, Japan, Sweden, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America each read statements on their country’s position in the Ukraine/Russian Federation crisis. The statements are reproduced in annex IX of the session report. Norway supported the statements of Denmark, the European Commission and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, via chat.

The intervention of the representative of the Russian Federation highlighted that the use of WP.29, the UNECE World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations, for political statements is not in line with the terms of reference of WP.29.
