Proposal to clarify that parts made of plastic glazing are required to undergo the tests described in Annexes 6 to 8 of UN R118 and to introduce M3 class I vehicles into scope to permit approvals on a voluntary basis.
This proposal (WP.29/2021/152) was adopted by the World Forum. Thirty-seven Contracting Parties out of the 52 applying UN R118 were present for the vote by AC.1. Thirty-five voted in favor with zero against and two abstaining.
