The Automotive Life Cycle Assessment (A-LCA) initiative aims to develop an internationally harmonised procedure to determine the carbon footprint of automotive products from production to use and disposal. WP.29 is expected to consider a proposal to adopt a new Mutual Resolution on A-LCA during is November 2026 session.
