Proposal to:

• Clarify the need for 3-phase and 4-phase analysis of test data depending on the fuel type of the engine (petrol or diesel)
• Clarify and align the provision of PEMS concentration and emission correction with UN Regulations as common provision
• Amend the scope to allow type approval of vehicles that previously were only within the scope as an extension based on their reference mass.

Proposal for a new UN Regulation on uniform provisions for the approval of light-duty passenger and commercial vehicles with regard to real driving emissions (RDE).
