UN R157: Proposal for a Supplement 2 to the 01 series of amendments

Proposal to align the text with the guidelines on UN regulatory procedures and transitional provisions in UN Regulations (document ECE/TRANS/WP.29/1044/Rev.3). Under the guidelines, a UN Regulation (in this case, UN R157) making reference to the provisions of another UN Regulation (in this case, UN R10) shall not require actual approval to that UN regulation but simply refer to the provisions of that UN Regulation.
This proposal (WP.29/2023/132) was adopted by the World Forum. Thirty-nine Contracting Parties out of the 58 applying UN R157 were present for the vote by AC.1. Thirty-nine voted in favor with zero against and zero abstaining.
