Proposal for Supplement 5 to the 04 series of amendments to Regulation No. 41
Proposal to clarify the test procedure by explicitly excluding first gear where possible from the ASEP control range and to clarify that conditioning of a silencing system is necessary only in cases where exhaust gases come into contact with silencer fibrous materials.
This proposal (WP.29/2016/46) was adopted by the World Forum. Thirty-six Contracting Parties out of the 44 applying UN R41 were present for the vote by AC.1. Thirty-six voted in favor with zero against and zero abstaining.
