This informal document aims at correcting and clarifying the draft amendments to Regulation No. 110 as proposed in WP.29/2013/101. At its November 2013 session, the World Forum WP.29 is expected to consider and adopt draft Supplement 1 to the 01 series of amendments to Regulation No. 110, inserting new provisions for motor vehicles using Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) in their propulsion system. During the last session, GRSG agreed to have a final review of the proposal.

In response to a bus accident where a pressure relief device produced a horizontal jet flame lasting several minutes, the Netherlands offers possible changes to CNG component and bus safety regulations.

Proposal to clarify that the requirements and test procedures introduced for fuel rails in the 01 series are not intended to apply to other CNG components.

The draft supplement 1 to the 01 series of amendments to UN R110 (pending before the November WP.29 session) introduces type-approval provisions for vehicles equipped with liquefied natural gas propulsion systems. In this document, Germany signals its intention to prepare substantial revisions concerning its safety provisions.
