29. The co-Chair of the TF-AVRS introduced ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRPE/2026/16, as amended by GRPE-94-29.

30. GRPE adopted ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRPE/2026/16, as amended by GRPE-94-29 and during the session, and requested the secretariat to submit it to WP.29 and AC.1 for consideration and vote at their June 2026 sessions as draft new supplement to the 07 Series of Amendments to UN Regulation No. 49.

31. The representative of OICA introduced ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRPE/2026/17.

32. GRPE adopted ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRPE/2026/17 as amended during the session and requested the secretariat to submit it to WP.29 and AC.1 for consideration and vote at their November 2026 sessions as draft new supplement to the 07 Series of Amendments to UN Regulation No. 49.

33. The representative of OICA introduced GRPE-94-12. The representative of the EC noted the proposal was going in the right direction and proposed to finalize a proposal to be tabled at the next session of GRPE with an official symbol.

34. The representative of OICA introduced GRPE-94-13. He informed GRPE that OICA was expected to prepare a working document for the next session of GRPE to reflect their intention.

35. The representative of the EC introduced GRPE-94-23. The representative of the UK offered to actively support to transpose the latest provisions of EU Heavy Duty Euro7 in the UN system. The representative of Japan sought further information about the possibility to expand the concept of Small Volume Manufacturers into UN Regulation No. 49, and invited GRPE to seek a lasting solution to this persistent concern.

36. The representative of the EC noted the concern from Japan and clarified there were no immediate plan to transpose SVM requirements from Euro 7 into the UN system at this stage. He highlighted that the engine act was expected to be transpose into UN Regulation No. 49 and that transposition plans for the vehicle act were still being considered.
