34. The expert from GTB presented an update on energy saving opportunities in automotive lighting (GRE-93-09).

35. The expert from Australia introduced to GRE the Informal Working Group on Children Left In Vehicles (IWG CLIV) which was drafting a new UN Global Technical Regulation, including requirements with regard to audible and visual warnings upon successful detection of a CLIV event (GRE-93-24). He invited GRE experts to participate in the IWG CLIV work.

36. GRE noted that Mr. Derwin Rovers (Kingdom of the Netherlands) and Mr. Pere Hernández (IMMA) would no longer attend GRE sessions. GRE thanked them for their extensive contributions to the GRE work over many years and wished them success in their future careers.
