GRE was informed about the activities of the Task Force on Substitutes and Retrofits (TF SR) (GRE-93-04) and adopted their amendment proposals to the Consolidated Resolution on the Common Specification of Light Source Categories (R.E.5) that introduce new light emitting diode (LED) replacement light source categories H8, H16 and HB4 (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRE/2025/17). The secretariat was requested to forward these amendments to WP.29 for consideration at its March 2026 session.

11. The experts from GTB tabled other proposals for amendments to R.E.5 (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRE/2025/15). GRE adopted the proposals and mandated the secretariat to submit them to WP.29 for consideration at its March 2026 session.
