32. GRE was briefed on the activities of the Global Forum for Road Traffic Safety (WP.1), particularly the establishment of a new group of experts on the use of automated vehicles in traffic.

33. The Chair recalled that the Vienna Convention (1968) would need to be aligned with the adopted proposal on parking lamps (para. 16 above). The expert from OICA reminded that there had been other examples for which alignment should be performed. To make progress, GRE invited OICA to collect all such cases and submit an informal document to the November 2025 session of WP.29 to request for guidance.
