Proposal for a new UN Regulation for Uniform provisions concerning the approval of light duty passenger and commercial vehicles with regards to On-board monitoring (OBM) systems, environmental vehicle passport (EVP) and in-vehicle display of environmental data. Proposal to harmonise and consolidate the regional procedures and limits, update the provisions to align with Euro 7 requirements, including new particle number (PN10) provisions, a new SHED limit for evaporative emissions, updated On-board Fuel Consumption Monitoring provisions, new annexes with requirements relating to in-vehicle battery durability and a new test for range of Pure Electric Vehicles at low temperatures. Proposal for a new series to align with Euro 7 requirements, including provisions on manipulation devices and manipulation strategies, anti-tampering, security and cyber security, and extended lifetime and In-Service Conformity requirements for in-vehicle battery durability.
