The first document summaries what parameters that Japan requires regarding phase specific values. Requires FC, range and electric consumption from each phase. Because vehicles are used in different ways buy different customers. And this will be used for customer information. Because of this the accuracy of the values does not need to be too detailed. This needs a discussion together with European Commission in order to have a common understanding on what values the GTR should deliver. The Proposal from Japan requires additional CS test to establish correction factors. If phase specific values are available there is no need for WLTC city test. And there would not be an increased test burden with calculated phase specific values. This proposal will be discussed internally in ACEA and after that with the European Commission at EU WLTP. ACEA/Renault did additional simulations of the proposal from Japan. The results regarding CO2 are not the expected. Also regarding ranges. The conclusion is that the proposal from Japan needs further development. The WLTC city cycle should be enough for information. Japan is of the opinion that maybe no need for UF in calculation of phase specific values. Will reconsider the proposal regarding use of UF. Japan will present new proposal end of September. |
