Terms of reference and rules of procedure for the IWG on ADS, established to work according to the strategic vision framework and draft regulatory text on ADS for use under the 1958 and 1998 Agreements. The IWG shall draft a Global Technical Regulation on ADS and a UN Regulation on ADS, combining regulatory text with administrative provisions and annexes from GRVA workshops, and deliver draft proposals for the January 2026 session of GRVA. The IWG reports to GRVA, is open to all WP.29 participants, and is managed by six Co-Chairs from different regions.
