Task Force on Lamps Under Parked Conditions held its 11th session on 8-10 June 2026 in Paris. The agenda and previous report were adopted without changes. Experts reviewed proposals for modifications to UN R48, discussing energy status indicator colour conventions, apparent surface requirements, numbers of indicators for multiple charging connectors, and lamp test modes. Key decisions included restricting indicator illumination to connectors in use, maintaining 1-25 cm² apparent surface for most indicators with 1-150 cm² for connector-surrounding indicators, and performing one mode test per class in neutral state. The next meeting is scheduled for 11 September 2026 in Tokyo, with a final proposal targeted for April 2027 GRE session.
