85. The expert from OICA presented document ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSG/2021/26, Proposal for Supplement 1 to the original version of UN Regulation No. 163 on uniform provisions concerning the approval of vehicle alarm system and approval of a vehicle with regard to its vehicle alarm system.

86. GRSG considered and adopted ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSG/2021/26 and requested its submission to WP.29 and AC.1 for vote at their March 2022 sessions.

With 39 of the 56 Contracting Parties applying UN R163 present and voting, AC.1 adopted document WP.29/2022/51 by a vote of 37 in favor, 0 opposed, with 2 abstaining.
