7. The expert from France, Chair of the Informal Working Group (IWG) on Behaviour of M2 and M3 vehicles’ general construction in case of Fire Event (BMFE) introduced document GRSG-118-16, containing an overview of proceedings of the 8th and 9th sessions of the IWG on BMFE, the group’s activities and progress in the development of amendments to UN Regulations Nos. 107 and 118, and the schedule for upcoming sessions of the IWG. He invited GRSG experts to provide feedback on questions highlighted in the informal document. The expert also introduced document GRSG-118-02, containing a proposed amendment to UN Regulation No. 107. 8. GRSG considered GRSG-118-02 and requested its submission as an official document for consideration at the October 2020 session of GRSG. The Chair of GRSG invited delegates to submit further comments to be considered for addition to the proposal, if any. |
