Proposal to introduce a generic drawing to improve interpretation of the regulation, especially with regard to contactable parts (sphere protocol). The proposal clarifies which requirements apply to which part of the windscreen wiper and thus clarifies whether parts may be “exempted”. Given the implications for approvals, the proposal is presented as a new series of amendments with transitional provisions starting from September 2022. |
