OICA proposed to add the definition of options and alternatives to the 1958 Agreement. EC asked if the proposal means to amend Article 12 in this context. OICA responded affirmatively. EC also asked whether it would also mean to amend WP29/1044 or not. The Chairman stated that OICA proposal basically seemed appropriate and further discussion would be necessary in drafting the new Appendix (WP29/1059, etc.) to 58 Agreement. The Chairman concluded that the next IWVTA informal group would continue to discuss the revision of 58 Agreement based on OICA proposal. |
